Next is a short introduction by John.
Ever since I've started playing the guitar in the early seventies I wanted to write and compose my own music. After I played in several coverbands it became more and more clear to me that I wanted to create my own music. So I started writing my own lyrics and music in a very early stadium. I've always tried to find a good balance between the lyrics and the music. I find my inspiration in life as it comes, in books, movies, journeys and other musicians. Great inspirors are Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, Ritchie Blackmore, Brian Robertson (Thin Lizzy), Mike Oldfield and from Holland Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon). I like to write different styles of music. That's the way to keep it interresting for me.
